501 HEALTH AND SAFETY AND WORKPLACE WELLNESS |

| 501.01 | There shall be a Workplace Wellness Committee established. The Workplace Wellness Committee will monitor health and safety issues and share relevant information with employees and management. |
| 501.02 | The Workplace Wellness Committee is comprised of six (6) members: The Human Resources Manager, Visitor Services Manager, a Conservation staff member, a Computer Support member and and two (2) other rotating Glenbow staff members who will serve two (2) year staggered terms. The Committee meets on a monthly basis. Minutes of meetings will be sent to the Union Secretary and Strategy Group. |
| 501.03 | Health and Safety Purpose
The Workplace Wellness Committee will promote and improve rules and practices to provide an occupational environment which will, as much as practicable, enhance the workplace and provide protection from factors adverse to employee health and safety. |
| 501.04 | Safety is Everyone's Responsibility
Staff are responsible for working and operating in a safe and conscientious manner, using appropriate safety equipment and protective clothing, and safety precautions. |
| 501.05 | The Workplace Wellness Committee may make recommendations to the Strategy Group regarding additional safety training. |
